According to a resolution published on the European Parliament's website, the European Parliament called on the European Commission to unify sanctions against Russia and take similar measures against Belarus, Iran and North Korea.

The resolution states: "The European Parliament calls on the European Council and the European Commission to enhance the effectiveness and impact of sanctions against Russia... calls for the immediate adoption of the 19th round of sanctions targeting Russia's main sources of revenue; calls on the European Council to maintain and expand the sanctions policy against Russia in cooperation with its U.S. partners, and to implement similar sanctions policies against all countries that provide assistance, including Belarus, Iran and North Korea, while also imposing sanctions on Chinese enterprises."
