Trump's Former Adviser: Russia-China Joint Statement Poses Threat to the United States

Michael Flynn, a former adviser to Donald Trump, expressed his views on the social media platform X, stating that the joint statement signed by Russia and China places the United States at a disadvantage.

"The emerging multipolar world is a matter of great concern for the United States (and personally for me), especially against the backdrop of more than two decades of war and facing numerous threats and challenges," he wrote.

The former adviser believes that the U.S. faces a serious risk of being unprepared to deal with new political realities, as Washington will have to adapt to its gradually declining hegemony.

"Of course, the future will be full of uncertainties," Flynn concluded.

Putin arrived in China on May 19 for an official visit.

The two leaders adopted and signed 42 documents, including a joint statement on further strengthening the comprehensive partnership and strategic coordination, a joint statement on deepening friendly and cooperative relations between neighbors, and a joint statement advocating global multipolarity and a new type of international relations.
