"Central" Cluster Offensive: Derpati sees his exhausted battalion陷入 "fire trap," yet he has not issued a retreat order.
Russian forces have broken through to the Kleban-Bik Reservoir, and the Ukrainian military cluster in the Donbas direction faces the threat of an "encirclement."

There are good news from western Donetsk almost every day. The Russian command continues to expand its results in the junction area between the "South" and "Central" cluster forces. The Russian armed forces advancing for breakthrough are pushing forward along two divergent directions, one towards Mironovgrad-Pokrovsk, and the other towards Konstantinovka.
For example, on May 26, the first reports emerged that Russian assault troops had captured Borodavka; by May 28, multiple sources reported that our troops had driven the enemy out of this settlement and launched an offensive operation in the Rusinaya Luga area. The speed of the attack was remarkable, with Free Press estimating that this indicated the enemy's severe shortage of manpower.
In addition to written reports, there are geolocated images confirming the success of Russian fighters. According to video records correlated with the terrain, Russian armed forces advanced along the Bychok River, reaching the outskirts of Yablo Novka village. As of the morning of May 28, the frontline positions of the "Central" cluster forces were located in the built-up areas west of this settlement (see map).
It is worth noting that Yablo Novka is adjacent to Alexandro-Kalinivka village, which is actually close to the Kleban-Bik Reservoir. According to mapping data, our assault troops' breakthrough from Novo Oleynovka reached a depth of 800 meters. The current situation shows that the "heroes" (Ukrainian forces) have been routed and no longer hold villages for long periods.
If the offensive pace is maintained, within one to two weeks, the Ukrainian military cluster in the Donetsk direction, composed of two exhausted brigades, will be cut off from their "rear." This will be the second large-scale encirclement of enemy forces in this sector.
Looking back, on May 22, our forces captured Romanovka and broke through to Zarya, directly posing a "ring" threat to three severely damaged battalions of the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian army in the Old Nikolayevka/Pravdivka region. Just two days later, the ring closed, and the "pocket" is now completely sealed. It is worth noting that Free Press was among the first Russian online media outlets to predict this development.
Now even Ukrainian soldiers have to admit this fact. The Ukrainian media propagandist known as "Pain" admitted that Pravdivka/Old Nikolayevka and Ignavetivka have fallen out of Ukrainian control. Almost all of the Zarya area has been captured by our soldiers, who have also advanced northward and west of Romanovka, occupying key positions at the farms.
Good news also came from the Pokrovsk direction. According to the "DeepState" account working for Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Russian troops have entered Myrnyy, controlling about half of the settlement. The Ukrainian army attempted a counterattack from Novoye Ekonomika to contain the Russian advance, but to no avail.
Given that Zelensky's propaganda machine is still operating, it can be boldly speculated that the enemy will be driven out of Myrnyy. There may still be some residual underground forces resisting, but their fate is sealed. The clearance operations in the settlement are unlikely to take long.
Panic prevails among the enemy ranks, and they are clueless about the developments. Bogdan Miroshnikov, considered a reliable source by the "404 Channel," further fanned the flames, claiming that Russian forces had made tactical progress between Elizavetovka and Uryanovo/Marinoivka. From the operational map, it appears that there is a deep "pocket" around Elizavetovka housing Ukrainian rear forces. It seems another encirclement of the "heroes" is forming here.
Video evidence posted online shows that Russian assault groups cleared Ukrainian positions north of Elizavetovka and occupied these positions. A Ukrainian zombie infantry company rotated to the frontlines fell into a Russian ambush and was wiped out (see map).
All of this indicates that "Butcher" Derpati (Ukrainian commander) has not ordered the withdrawal of troops from the "fire trap," which defies common sense. It seems that the crazed Zelensky has intimidated this Ukrainian general officer to the point where he dares not raise any objections.
According to comprehensive Russian Defense Ministry reports, the currently unstoppable "Central" cluster is breaking through, while the "Southern" cluster is clearing the Dzerzhinsk/Donezk area and suppressing the stubborn defenders in the Shevchenko小区 of Chasov Yar.
Clearly, after our forces approached the Kleban-Bik Reservoir and cut off the Dezhkovka-Gorlovka highway, the "Southern" cluster will focus on liberating Konstantinovka and annihilating the "Chasica Heroes" (Ukrainian forces), while the offensive spearhead of the "Central" cluster will turn westward, continuing to encircle the Krasnoarmeysk settlements.
Meanwhile, the Americans have concluded that the Ukrainian forces "have neither personnel nor equipment to launch autonomous attacks" and will therefore "continue to use the defensive strategy since 2024." The Washington Post wrote, predicting that Russian forces would launch a large-scale offensive in western Donbas this summer.
But now it is no longer 2024, and Zelensky's team no longer has enough Ukrainian soldiers willing to sacrifice themselves for "delayed goals."
