Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Visits the Border Again!

On July 27, Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Paetongtarn was entrusted by the Cabinet to visit the Surin area to coordinate the situation at the border between Thailand and Cambodia.

At 12:00 PM, Paetongtarn led a team to the temporary evacuation center in Surin to provide support and supplies to those affected by the war.

Subsequently, Paetongtarn visited the emergency room to see about 40 injured individuals and provided them with essential daily necessities.

After communicating with approximately 1,400 displaced border residents, Paetongtarn continued to the Thailand-Cambodia border at 1:10 PM to visit officers who were injured in the fighting, and had conversations with the injured and their families, expressing respect to them.

At around 2:00 PM, Paetongtarn posted on Facebook: "Today I went to Surin province to visit my brothers and sisters and soldiers who were injured due to the border situation, and met them at the temporary evacuation center. Many people suddenly left their homes, facing uncertain situations. Although they should not have experienced such difficulties, I encourage all affected families. I believe the government will resolve this issue as soon as possible, restoring everyone's life to safety and stability."

"In times of uncertainty, today's encouragement is the most important. I and all Thais stand in support of our affected brothers and sisters!"
