War Rekindles! Thailand Continues Military Operations Inside Cambodia!

Cambodian military spokesperson General Sok Chanty stated that despite the strong calls for a ceasefire and peaceful resolution of the ongoing border conflict by the international community—including the UN Secretary-General and the President of the United States—Thailand continued its aggression against Cambodia on July 27th.

General Sok Chanty said that Thai forces continued military operations against Cambodian targets in multiple areas along the border at around 2:00 AM on Sunday morning.

At 2:00 AM on the 27th, Thai forces resumed shelling toward Cambodia; by 4:50 AM, the bombing had expanded to six areas including Ta Soa; at 6:00 AM, Thai ground forces invaded three areas including Pnom Kravanh; at 6:30 AM, tanks and ground forces began large-scale invasions into Cambodian territory.

Currently, Thailand is still mobilizing and dispatching troops to the border, especially near the provinces of Battambang, Pursat, and Koh Kong.
