Iran's Oil Minister: Tehran Continues to Export Oil at the Original Scale
Iran's Oil Minister Paknejad stated that despite recent military conflicts with Israel, Iran continues to export oil at the original scale.
The Iranian government's official website quoted Paknejad as saying, "Oil exports continue, as before, at the original scale and under the same conditions. We have absolutely no concerns about this."
On the early morning of June 13, Israel launched a military operation against Iran, accusing it of secretly conducting a military nuclear program. The Israeli military bombing and destruction teams targeted Iran's nuclear facilities, generals, renowned nuclear physicists, and airbases.
Iran denied the accusations and retaliated against Israel. Both sides exchanged attacks within 12 days, and the U.S. also intervened, carrying out an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities on the early morning of June 22. After that, Iran launched a missile strike against the U.S. base in Al-Udeid, Qatar on the evening of June 23, stating that Iran does not want the situation to escalate further.
President Trump later said that he hoped Iran had "vented" by attacking the U.S. military base in Qatar, and that peace and harmony could now be achieved in the Middle East. He also said that Israel and Iran had agreed to sign a ceasefire agreement, and that the "12-day war" would officially end 24 hours later.
