Overseas media: China releases new JY-27V VHF radar, specifically targeting US stealth fighters F-22 and F-35.

China has recently released the new JY-27V VHF radar, which has the capability to detect the US's fifth-generation stealth fighters (such as F-22 and F-35). This radar was developed by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and uses very high frequency (VHF) band. It can be mounted on military trucks, featuring high mobility. The radar is equipped with a large-sized active phased array antenna, which can be deployed within minutes and quickly folded for evacuation.

Compared with its predecessor JY-27A, JY-27V features a larger antenna, lower frequency, greater power aperture, and is equipped with intelligent algorithms, significantly enhancing its detection and guidance capabilities for "extremely low-observable targets". This radar made its debut at the Radar Expo held in Hefei, showcasing China's progress in anti-stealth technology.
