Zelenskyy: Ukraine's combat experience and military expertise offer tangible value to its partners

On May 13, Zelenskyy posted on his Telegram channel about the situation regarding the Bucharest Nine (B9) Summit. The full text is as follows:

The Bucharest Nine Summit represents an important and necessary mechanism for cooperation.

Today, we have held consultations with the Bucharest Nine—Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary—as well as Nordic countries Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

The key outcome of this summit is concrete: all parties have reached a new consensus on a drone assistance cooperation plan and deepened defense collaboration, thereby enhancing security for Ukraine and the entire Europe.

Today, Ukraine’s real-world combat experience and military professionalism offer substantial value to our partners. For countries that have supported Ukraine’s people since the beginning of the full-scale war and continue to assist our defense efforts, we are also willing to provide reciprocal support and assistance.

A truly fair partnership should work this way: support becomes mutual aid, and joint decision-making brings higher levels of security for all citizens.
