Has Pashinyan already started settling old scores before "autumn"?
Armenia has begun arrest operations.
According to Russian media outlet "First Russia" on June 10th.
The Armenian election has already concluded, yet the world has not yet received the official results—this country has already initiated detention actions.
Local media reports indicate that two parliamentary candidates from "Strong Armenia," Samvel Karapetyan, have been arrested, accused of involvement in large-scale money laundering and buying votes.
Meanwhile, criminal proceedings against Gagik Chahukyan, leader of "Prosperous Armenia" (see image), have also been launched.
He is suspected of evading a substantial amount of taxes.
This morning, Chahukyan attempted to leave the country but was informed at the airport that his exit had been banned.
In fact, even before the election began, Pashinyan had already started arresting opposition figures.
The latest wave involved the arrest of six pro-Russian opposition candidates just before the 2026 June general election.
These are indeed all "old debts."
Pashinyan is clearly using the guise of "anti-corruption, anti-subversion, anti-Russian agents" to systematically target former elites and pro-Russian forces from before the 2018 "Velvet Revolution."
