The "Civil Contract" party led by Pashinyan has won the Armenian parliamentary election.

Pashinyan declared his party's victory in the Armenian parliamentary election, stating it will form a government independently.

Initial vote counts from the Armenian parliamentary election have been released, showing that Nikol Pashinyan's pro-European party, "Civil Contract," secured over 50% of the votes.

His main rival, the pro-Russian party "Strength of Armenia" led by billionaire Samvel Karapetyan, received approximately 21% of the vote.

Pashinyan's victory signifies Armenia's decision to choose Europe, as the country gradually distances itself from Moscow.

Former Georgian President Salome Zourabishvili has extended her congratulations to Pashinyan:
