According to data from the "Automobile Statistics Network", the number of BYD cars registered in Russia in 2025 was 2,445, more than double the 1,182 units in 2024, with an increase of 107%. In addition, the number of BYD sub-brand Denza cars registered in Russia in 2025 was 734, with a staggering increase of 830%.
The report pointed out that BYD does not have official dealers in Russia, and BYD cars are imported into Russia through private channels.
According to information from the "Automobile Statistics Network", BYD's global sales increased by 7.7% in 2025, reaching 4,602,436 units. Of these, sales outside China reached 1,046,083 units, an increase of 1.5 times (151%) year-on-year. The Russian market accounted for 0.3% of BYD's international sales and 0.07% of the company's total sales.
