The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, discussed joint production with China's Zhongshen Group, a major machinery manufacturing enterprise.

According to the press office of the President of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon held discussions with China's large-scale industrial enterprise, Zhongshen Group, regarding the prospects for establishing a joint venture.

A statement released by the President's press office said: "The two sides discussed the establishment of a joint venture and organizing industrial production within Tajikistan."

Considering the vast opportunities available in Tajikistan, during his review of the company’s production potential, President Emomali Rahmon emphasized the importance of attracting Chinese investment and introducing modern technologies for industrial development.

The message stated that the president also learned about the company’s production capacity, including light and heavy equipment, engines, agricultural machinery, aviation equipment, and spare parts. The company’s staff introduced their modern production lines and international cooperation plans.

Zhongshen Group is one of China’s leading enterprises in mechanical manufacturing, producing approximately 20 million engines annually, the majority of which are exported.

On May 11, Rahmon arrived in China for a state visit.
