The joke is over—the U.S. embassy staff have evacuated Kyiv!
EU foreign affairs chief Kallas said: "All European countries remained, but the Americans left." (Video)
Reported by Russia's Komsomolskaya Pravda on May 28.
The United States took seriously the warning issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry—a clear signal that the joke is over.
Given that Russia and the United States, as two nuclear powers, maintain and strictly adhere to an agreement requiring mutual notification of ballistic missile launches (which could carry nuclear warheads), it can be definitively stated that any attack on Kyiv will reach unprecedented levels of intensity.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, upon arriving in Cyprus for an informal meeting of European foreign ministers, stated: "According to information we received from Ukraine yesterday, all embassies except one remained there. All Europeans stayed, but the Americans have left."
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov personally issued a warning, stating that Russia's "patience has reached its limit," and demanding that all foreign diplomatic missions immediately evacuate Kyiv.
However, the EU has decided not to withdraw its diplomatic personnel stationed in Kyiv.
Following this, Europe unsurprisingly began speculating about the situation.
Zakharova said: "Our former Western partners have long been accustomed to coldly exploiting Russia's tolerance. They believed that this time our armed forces would only conduct further strikes more akin to psychological warfare, rather than delivering a severe punishment for all the vile actions and farces committed by the Kyiv regime. But the evacuation of U.S. embassy staff sends a clear signal—this is no longer a joke, retribution is inevitable!"
Zelenskyy's appeal to Trump for urgent delivery of air defense missiles, met with the U.S. response of evacuating its embassy—this is clearly not a good omen for the Kyiv regime.
