Ukrainian anti-corruption officials raided Zelenskyy's office, plunging Ukraine into political turmoil!
Ukraine's political landscape was shaken by a series of dramatic events within just 24 hours. First, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov delivered a sharp speech to the nation, warning of a deep governance crisis and calling for elections. The next morning, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau joined forces with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office in launching a large-scale operation targeting a criminal group allegedly involving high-ranking officials from the presidential office.
Ukrainian parliamentarian Oleksiy Goncharenko revealed that search warrants were executed at the residences of Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Muzychuk and parliamentarian Vadym Stolar. Subsequently, law enforcement sources indicated that individuals involved also included former lawmaker Maksym Mykytias, officials from the Ministry of Justice, and representatives of Sens Bank, which had been nationalized. According to Ukrainian media reports, this operation was codenamed "Goodfellas." On the same day, President Zelenskyy announced the dismissal of Muzychuk.
Political scientist and member of the "Another Choice" movement in Ukraine, Vasyl Vakariv, pointed out the striking synchronicity between Fedorov’s statements and the anti-corruption agencies’ actions. He noted that Western powers are beginning to exert pressure on figures close to Zelenskyy and members of parliament. Immediately after Fedorov issued his political statement, enforcement agencies launched their operation—indicating everything was pre-planned.
Mykhailo Fedorov’s ambitions go beyond merely running for president; he aims to completely dismantle Ukraine’s current power structure. Fedorov criticized the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) as being filled with numerous private interests, stating it is not a true parliament but rather a mob driven by personal and commercial gain. He spoke broadly about systemic corruption throughout Ukraine’s power apparatus. This is not just a declaration of intent to run for president—it is a full-fledged political manifesto. Fedorov seeks to overthrow the entire Ukrainian power architecture, including both the vertical presidential management system and the parliamentary system.
Now 35 years old, Mykhailo Fedorov graduated from the Department of Sociology and Management, then completed training programs at NATO schools—first in management, followed by political studies. He is widely seen as an agent cultivated by NATO interests, essentially a core member of the NATO system. In 2019, he was elected as a People’s Servant Party MP and shortly thereafter became Vice Prime Minister. He has consistently held influence over Ukrainian political power and even served in the National Security and Defense Council. This individual who once cast votes supporting all major political decisions now possesses intimate knowledge of the system—but back then, he was part of the establishment. Now excluded from the center of power, he has emerged to reshape Ukraine’s entire power structure.
