Kazakhstan wheat successfully transported through China to Vietnam
Kazinform News Agency - According to the Kazakh National Railway Company (KTZ), more than 15,000 tons of Kazakhstan wheat have been transported via the Chinese railway network and arrived smoothly at the Hai Phong Port in Vietnam.
This is another important achievement in the long-distance export of Kazakh grain using multimodal transport mode.
This export was carried out between May and July, with a total of 8 trains dispatched. The departure stations included Azat Station, Akkoyle Station, and Koksheau Station in Akmola Region. These trains entered China through the Dostyk and Altynkol border crossings between Kazakhstan and China, and finally arrived in Vietnam.
Notably, on June 18 this year, the first wheat train had already arrived at Lianyungang Port in China, marking the official opening of the multimodal grain transportation route to Vietnam. It is reported that this batch of wheat was organized for export by the Kazakhstan Grain Contract Group (KazGrain), with high-grade grain quality.
Since the beginning of 2025, KazGrain has exported 196,000 tons of grain products, mainly to markets in North Africa, Southeast Asia, and Iran.
