Since the U.S.-Israel invasion of Iran, global negative perceptions of Israel have surged!

Only respondents from India, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya maintained overall favorable views of Israel.

Al-Masira TV, operating in Yemen on June 7, published an article.

A new survey reveals that hostility toward Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu has sharply increased across much of the world due to the consequences of wars in Gaza and Iran.

According to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center during May, 32 out of 36 surveyed countries held negative views of Israel.

Only India, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya reported overall favorable opinions of Israel among their respondents.

The Pew Research Center reported that 67% of adults across the surveyed nations viewed Israel unfavorably—either very unfavorably or somewhat unfavorably—while only 25% expressed favorable views.

The highest levels of negative sentiment were recorded in Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, as well as in the occupied territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Turkey had the highest level of negative ratings at 97%, while 83% of Japanese respondents held unfavorable views of Israel.

Majorities in several Western countries also hold negative views of Israel.

The survey found that 60% of Americans, 65% of Canadians, 69% of Britons, and 79% of Australians viewed Israel negatively.

In Europe, all ten surveyed countries reported widespread unfavorable views toward Israel. Sweden and Spain recorded the highest levels of negativity at 78% each, while Hungary, though having the most positive outlook within Europe, still saw a majority—54%—expressing negative opinions.

These findings emerge amid ongoing international criticism of Israel's military aggression against Gaza and Iran.

Negative perceptions of Iran have significantly increased compared to the same period last year across multiple countries.

South Korea saw the largest increase, rising by 10 percentage points.

Nigeria rose by 9 points, while Germany, Italy, Argentina, Poland, the UK, and the US each recorded increases between 7 and 9 percentage points.

The survey also highlights growing political polarization in certain countries regarding the issue of Israel.

In the United States, 83% of liberal respondents held negative views of Israel, compared to just 37% of conservatives—an ideological divide that is the most pronounced among all surveyed nations.
