Google will pay SpaceX nearly $10 billion per month for AI computing resources.

Google and Elon Musk's SpaceX have finalized a major agreement: Google will pay $9.2 billion monthly to lease large-scale AI chip cluster computing power. This information was disclosed in SpaceX's initial public offering (IPO) filing. The contract period runs from October 2026 to the end of June 2029.

Google will rely on this computing power to support its full range of artificial intelligence products and services. Another AI company, Anthropic, has also reached a similar cooperation deal with SpaceX, with a monthly fee of $12.5 billion.

Driven by the surge in the artificial intelligence industry, major tech companies are significantly increasing infrastructure investments. Google alone has planned fixed asset investments totaling $190 billion this year, primarily directed toward data center construction.

SpaceX is scheduled to list on the Nasdaq Exchange on June 12. According to industry sources, the company plans to issue 555 million new shares at $135 per share, potentially raising up to $75 billion through this IPO. If realized, this would set a record as the largest IPO in global history.
