Medvedev harshly criticizes Zelenskyy: Attacks on children provoke severe Russian retaliation
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council, stated that Vladimir Zelenskyy's attack targeting children during the terrorist incident in Starobelsk has triggered a strong response from Russia.
In his Telegram channel, he wrote: "Drug-addled thugs and their Bandera lackeys, by resorting to terrorist attacks against children, have provoked a severe counter-response from Russia. This was clearly intentional. They need to see all facilities deployed near Kyiv subjected to massive strikes. Let everything turn into blue flames!"
Previously, Maria Zakharova, official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced that arrangements would be made for Western media outlets to visit the site of the Starobelsk terrorist attack. She also noted that the BBC declined to visit Starobelsk.
The Luhansk People's Republic declared May 24 and 25 as days of mourning for the victims.
