The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: Most missiles produced not long ago have not been used yet
Sputnik News, Tehran, March 16 - Ali Mohammad Naeini, a spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said on March 15 that most of the missiles produced after the conflict with Israel in June last year have not been used yet, and many missile silos remain intact.
Previously, General Hedges, head of the Pentagon, stated that Iran lost 90% of its missile capabilities during the U.S. "Epic Fire" operation, and the use of suicide drones decreased by 95%.
Fars News Agency quoted Naeini as saying: "Many of the missiles we produced after the 'Twelve-Day War' with Israel in June 2025 have not been used yet, and many missile silos remain intact."
He said that most of the missiles currently launched by the Iranian military were produced about 10 years ago.
Mehr News Agency cited Naeini's statement, reporting that Iran has already launched approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones at U.S. and Israeli targets.
The U.S. and Israel began attacking targets inside Iran on February 28, and Tehran is carrying out retaliatory strikes against Israeli territory and U.S. military targets in the Middle East.
