The court has ordered the U.S. to pay at least $2.2 billion to Iran. This amount includes: material losses for families who lost loved ones - $582 million, spiritual damages for families - $1.164 billion, material damages for 25 victims - $7.5 million each, spiritual damages for the same 25 victims - $15 million each, and $50 million in punitive damages.
