U.S. Media: India has frozen the final approval required for Elon Musk's Starlink to conduct commercial operations in the country on grounds of national security, a development occurring just as SpaceX plans its record-breaking IPO.

According to informed sources, India's internal security agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs is concerned about Starlink satellite terminals being used in the Iran conflict — although the service is not licensed for use in Iran, reports indicate that its terminals have been deployed in Middle Eastern conflicts.

New Delhi is worried that it would be difficult to regulate this American operator amid escalating geopolitical tensions.
