Ukraine has shut down the last coal-fired power plant in the Donetsk region under its control. The Slavyansk Thermal Power Plant, located within Ukrainian-controlled areas, has ceased operations. This was the final operating power station in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the region, although in fact the plant has not been generating electricity since February this year.
