Pakistani national media reported, citing so-called "security sources", as follows:
"Last night, four Indian Air Force 'Rafale' fighter jets were on patrol in the airspace near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir region. The Pakistan Air Force promptly scrambled frontline fighters to challenge the Indian formation in conjunction with the forces already on standby in the airspace and tracked the Indian formation with live air-to-air missiles. Ultimately, Pakistan's tough aerial deterrence forced the Indian Air Force 'Rafale' fighters to abort their patrol mission and return immediately."
