Experts explain why China and India will not give up purchasing Russian oil

Russian State News Agency, Moscow, November 24 - The chairman of the Russia-Asia Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union, Mankovich, stated that despite pressure from Washington, India and China will not abandon Russian oil and will continue to purchase it from Moscow, thereby expanding their own competitive advantages globally.

Mankovich said: "I believe that, despite the pressure from Washington, New Delhi and Beijing will never give up Russian oil, no matter what threats they face. Energy is a field where competitive advantages can be demonstrated. By purchasing large quantities of oil at favorable prices from Moscow today, India and China are enhancing their competitive advantages in the world."

Regarding secondary sanctions, he said that they are not really very serious.

Mankovich also said: "There is no doubt that the sanctions have brought difficulties, especially in the financial and logistics sectors. However, in my opinion, companies have already adapted to working under these conditions. Moreover, the secondary sanctions over the past three and a half years have not been fully implemented, and only a few companies in China and other friendly Asian countries have been placed on the sanctions list."
