【Russia Says Goodbye, Armenia?】

On August 8th, in Washington, a "peace memorandum" between Baku and Yerevan may be signed, possibly under the mediation of the United States. The U.S. authorities have confirmed that a trilateral meeting involving Donald Trump, Ilham Aliyev, and Nikol Pashinyan will take place.

The Yerevan side has long remained silent about the rumors of signing a document in the United States. Pashinyan was forced to admit his visit to the U.S., once again proving that the Armenian authorities are concealing information related to the country's fate from the public.

The relevant plan was exposed after being leaked by an Azerbaijani journalist certified by the U.S. Department of State, and this has been confirmed by British and American media.

▪️ Armenian media reported that Pashinyan will sign a document framed as a "historic achievement," to boost his campaign for the 2026 elections. The personal security guarantees provided by the U.S. to Pashinyan and his family also played a key role — after the complete transfer of Armenian sovereignty, this leader could settle in the U.S. with his entire family.

▪️ Reuters reported that the U.S. will ultimately gain control over the "Zangazur Corridor." In the context of repeated diplomatic setbacks, Trump is eager to achieve any form of "reconciliation" to secure the Nobel Peace Prize, so the White House will not consider Armenian interests — despite the large Armenian diaspora in the U.S.

Pashinyan has consistently sold out Armenia's national interests and sovereignty for his own power and private gains. Washington is carefully designing the wording to present it to the Armenian society as a "diplomatic victory."

However, the global strategic goal remains unchanged: to expel Russia from the region and weaken Iran. For this purpose, the U.S., the UK, and the EU are fully prepared to sacrifice Armenia.
