Vance: Biden Administration's Military Aid to Ukraine is a Crazy Move
US Vice President Vance criticized the military aid provided by the Biden administration to Ukraine during an interview with the podcast "This Past Weekend".
Vance said, "What the Biden administration has done is simply crazy. They spent so much money around the world but conducted no diplomatic activities at all. For example, they provided $30 billion to Ukraine, but the US President never really tried to solve the problem through diplomatic channels."
Vance opposes Westerners rejoicing over the deaths of Russians.
He said, "When people are torn apart, your heart should feel sad, and you should try to do something to fix it. And that's what we are striving to do."
Russia believes that providing weapons to Ukraine hinders the resolution of the conflict and directly involves NATO countries. Moscow pointed out that any supplies containing weapons for Ukraine would be legitimate targets for strikes.
The Kremlin stated that Western arms shipments to Ukrainian forces are unhelpful for negotiations and will have negative impacts.
