The Kuomintang saw a 5.6% rise in favorability and a 3.8% drop in unfavorability. In contrast, the People First Party, also an opposition party, experienced a 0.3% decline in favorability, with its unfavorability rating reaching a high of 55.8%. Additionally, trust in President Lai Qingde stood at 46.2%, down 0.9%; meanwhile, 43.8% expressed distrust, up 1.0%. Furthermore, 55.6% of Taiwanese respondents believe the overall economic situation on the island is poor.
