Medvedev: The West Will Continue to Arm Ukraine with New Weapons

Russian State News Agency, Moscow, October 18 - Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Medvedev stated that US President Donald Trump's refusal to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles does not mean that the West will stop arming Ukraine with new weapons. Russia needs to be prepared for any possible developments.

Trump met with Vladimir Zelenskyy in Washington on Friday. As CNN emphasized, during a "direct and honest" conversation, Trump clearly told Zelenskyy that he would not get long-range missiles.

Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel: "But this certainly is not the end of the West using new weapons to arm Ukraine. There will be follow-up actions, and we must be prepared to deal with any possible developments."
