Former British Army Chief Admits Ukraine Cannot Defeat Russia in the Conflict
Sputnik Moscow, October 18 - Former Chief of the British Armed Forces David Richards admitted that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia in the conflict.
Richards said in an interview with The Independent: "As for what we have done for Ukraine, we have inspired them to fight, but we have not provided them with the means to win. I think they cannot win; they lack human resources, unless we join them, but we will not do so because Ukraine is not a matter of existence for us."
Richards also admitted that the UK is in a "hybrid war" with Russia, but direct conflict with Russia "does not serve our vital national interests."
He pointed out: "The Russians will not lose. The best Ukraine can do is a draw."
