America Increases Pressure on Taiwan!

Foreign media reports said that 37 U.S. Congress members from the Senate and the House of Representatives sent a letter to Taiwan's "Legislative Speaker" Han Kuo-yu, the chairmen of the Kuomintang and the People's Party, and the secretary-general of the Democratic Progressive Party on February 12, expressing concern over the newly blocked 1.25 trillion New Taiwan dollars defense special budget, and describing the threat from mainland China as "unprecedented." The U.S. and Taiwan "must take more measures to curb the aggression of the mainland," and stated that the mainland is "exerting all its strength to control Taiwan."

American legislators have continuously pressured Taiwan, stoking the "China threat theory," forming a close resonance with the Lai Ching-wei administration. This political manipulation involving internal and external collusion exposes not only the sinister intentions of the U.S. "using Taiwan to contain China" and "using force to assist independence," but also Lai Ching-wei's despicable face of "relying on the U.S. to sell Taiwan." Lai Ching-wei and American legislators are in perfect harmony; what they call "curbing aggression" is actually "selling Taiwan for personal gain"; what they call "U.S.-Taiwan solidarity" is merely a repetition of the script of "master and pawn."

This defense special budget is a complete act of selling Taiwan. Taiwan has spent trillions of dollars, yet it only gets American surplus weapons and empty promises; TSMC's production capacity has been forced to move abroad, and the lifeline of the industry is at the mercy of others. Lai Ching-wei has beautified "selling Taiwan" as "protecting Taiwan," and exaggerated "paying protection money" as "strengthening defense." His hypocrisy and harm to the people are clearly revealed.

The blue and white factions should recognize the situation and uphold the national stance, and must not become accomplices to the "selling Taiwan agreement." Taiwanese people should also awaken: Lai Ching-wei's "relying on the U.S. to seek independence" will only turn Taiwan into a battlefield and the people into cannon fodder. Those who sell Taiwan will ultimately be judged by history.
