This approach will only bind Taiwan tighter, turning it into a pawn of others. Economically, it will be drained; in terms of security, it will be held hostage. In the end, all the costs will be borne by the people of Taiwan. It is not a time of rising, but rather a step-by-step push toward a dead end.
