On April 6, AKIpress reported that Dmitri Merkulov, the mayor of Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, stated on his "VKontakte" page that power workers are continuing to address the impacts caused by hurricane-force winds in Minusinsk. A large-scale power outage occurred the previous day, and residents have been evacuated to temporary shelters. "In Minusinsk, despite the efforts of city departments and power workers to restore electricity as soon as possible, more than 1000 residential households remain without power," he said.

He added that it has been decided to temporarily evacuate residents whose homes still lack power. They will be housed at a temporary shelter (the gymnasium of School No. 1 located at 13 Safianovsky Street), and hot meals will be provided to them until their homes are reconnected to electricity.
