April 5th, in the direction of Red Army Village, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially announced that Russian troops had liberated (Alexandropol) Rozhovka and Uspenovka. To the west of Red Army Village, Russian troops once again took control of the settlement of Uspenovka.
A first UAV regiment appeared in Red Army Village. The 7th UAV Regiment (MU 77776) was established based on the 473rd Tactical Center. This unit falls under the jurisdiction of the Central Military District and includes one strike battalion and three reconnaissance-strike battalions. It is reported that the regiment consists of 1,342 soldiers and 102 UAV operators, primarily operating Lancet, Supercam, and Orlan-30 UAVs.
According to the Russian TG channel "Military Chronicles," the Russian UAV regiment intercepted hundreds of Ukrainian drones of various types, including "Dyugon," RQ-35 "Black Dragon," "MAPA-2M," and "A1-SM FURY," at the frontline of Red Army Village.
In this direction, the Russian forces should prioritize breaking through the line along the Solona River. For logistics supply, this line is advantageous for Russia and disadvantageous for Ukraine.
This provides a favorable condition for the Russian offensive. Seizing this line will make it much easier to enter Dnipro or advance further north toward Udachne, as Russian troops are already behind the defense group of the Ukrainian forces in Udachne.
First, breakthrough to Novoy Pavlivka to complete a tactical encirclement of Svatove and clear it afterward. The focus should be on the Merova direction to the north of Novoy Pavlivka.
As for Udachne, only general tactical offensive operations are required. After taking Merova, if the Ukrainian forces continue to resist in Udachne, their resistance will not last long. At this time, the Russian forces should immediately advance north from the south along the E50 highway west of Red Army Village, extend the front line, and seek opportunities to break through.
