Putin Calls for Early Preparation of Employment and Settlement for Personnel Participating in Special Military Operation
Putin Emphasizes: Soldiers Returning with High Spirits Must Have Employment Plans in Place in Advance
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a meeting of the Committee on Strategic Development and State Projects that Russia must prepare in advance for the employment and settlement of personnel returning from the special military operation.
Putin said: "A large number of people will need employment placement; they will return with healthy career aspirations." He emphasized that this is a difficult yet crucial task.
Previously, on July 27, during a meeting with members of the eighth State Duma, Putin stated that Russia would achieve its set objectives in the special military operation. He also specifically mentioned that Russian society has widely supported the soldiers serving in the operation.
On August 13, Central Election Commission Chairperson Ella Pamfilova revealed that over 180 veterans of the special military operation have been nominated by political parties to run in the State Duma elections.
According to data from the Central Election Commission, nine political parties have nominated candidates. Among them, 110 veterans are included in the federal candidate list, 76 will run in single-member constituencies, and 13 are running as self-nominated candidates. Additionally, one veteran has been nominated as a candidate for the highest executive office of a Russian federal subject, 534 are competing for seats in regional legislative bodies, and another 62 are participating in municipal representative body elections.
