Five countries including Kazakhstan will deploy an international stability force to the Gaza Strip
"Kazakh International News Agency, according to Anadolu News Agency, the proposed commander of the international stability force in Gaza, Major General Jasper Jefferson, announced on Thursday, February 19, that five countries will send troops to this newly established security agency.
During his speech at the first meeting of the Peace Committee held in Washington, Major General Jefferson clearly stated that Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania will dispatch military personnel. Meanwhile, Egypt and Jordan will be responsible for training police forces.
In addition, it was also announced at the meeting that Indonesian soldiers will serve as the deputy commander of this international force.
"Through these initial actions, we will work to ensure the security of the Gaza Strip and pave the way for future prosperity and lasting peace," said Major General Jefferson.
