The pension of working people in Russia increased by 2,800 rubles in December
According to data from the Russian Pension Fund obtained by TASS, the average pension for working people in Russia in December 2025 was 21,400 rubles, an increase of about 2,800 rubles compared to the same period last year.
Data shows that on December 1, 2025, the pension for working citizens was 21,419.4 rubles. In the same period in 2024, the pension for retired workers was approximately 18,600 rubles.
The region with the highest pension for working citizens was the Central Federal District - 21,200 rubles in 2025 and 18,400 rubles in 2024.
As of January 1, 2026, the pension for both working and non-working retirees has been adjusted according to a 7.6% indexation rate.
