Japan protests again: China acts in East China Sea
According to a report by Japanese media "Mainichi Shimbun" on April 21: On the 20th, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that China has confirmed plans to construct a new steel structure on the Chinese side of the so-called "China-Japan median line" in the East China Sea.
On the same day, Kinai Masashige, Director General of the Asia-Pacific Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, lodged a protest with Vice Minister Shi Yong of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, stating that this is a unilateral action.
Japanese media reported: This steel structure is the 23rd in the same maritime area. It serves as the foundation for further development of new resource exploitation facilities.
