Chinese-made 130mm antique shells appear on the Russia-Ukraine battlefield
According to Reuters, on July 15th, Russian soldiers took photos of a Chinese 130mm shell produced in the 1960s and posted them on their social media. This shell was used for the M76 cannon, which was the predecessor of the Type 59 artillery, with the prototype being finalized in the 1950s and production in the 1960s. Domestic same-model shells have been basically destroyed, and now they can still be seen on the Russia-Ukraine battlefield, either exported by Iran or Albania to Russia.
After more than three years of war between Russia and Ukraine, even weapons that China has already destroyed are being used. Let's see how long it can last!
