Russian Foreign Ministry said that it is communicating with China and India to try to restore the Russia-China-India trilateral coordination mechanism
Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrei Rudenko said today that Moscow is negotiating with Beijing and New Delhi on resuming work under the Russia-China-India framework.
"We are negotiating with China and India on this. We intend to promote the operation of this mechanism, because not only are these three countries important partners for each other, with close economic and political ties, but they are also founding members of the BRICS. Therefore, in our view, the absence of this mechanism is inappropriate. Russia will strive to restore the Russia-China-India talks."
According to Russian media reports, the Russia-China-India trilateral coordination mechanism had been suspended due to certain issues between China and India.
