Putin: Russia's Deportation of Illegal Immigrants Increased 2.6-Fold
Russian President Putin stated that the number of illegal immigrants deported from Russia has increased 2.6 times, with a rise of 85%. The remarks were reported by TASS.
The head of state supports targeted recruitment of immigrants—according to him, this also ensures the rights of incoming personnel.
"They [the countries of origin of immigrants – note by TASS] are interested in jointly training those who wish to come to Russia for work, preparing them for their jobs and lives in Russia," he said.
Previously, reports indicated that the number of immigrants at construction sites across Russia has increased over the past year.
