The ongoing "Epstein case" in the United States continues to heat up, and with the increasing division within the MAGA camp, Trump's presidential position has become increasingly precarious.

According to China Central Television, the media outlet "Wall Street Journal," which previously exposed that Trump had written a "lewd" birthday letter to the late American billionaire Epstein, has been sued by Trump for defamation. A reporter from the newspaper was also removed from the list of White House correspondents on the 21st.

However, another media outlet has discovered new clues. On the 22nd, CNN exclusively disclosed a batch of archived videos and photos, revealing that Epstein was present at Trump's wedding held at the New York Plaza Hotel in 1993.

CNN released the photo of the scene and pointed out that this detail first confirmed that Epstein had attended Trump's wedding. Before that, this information was little known.

Additionally, in another video from the 1999 "Victoria's Secret" fashion show in New York, CNN also captured Trump and Epstein laughing together before the show started.

CNN stated that they found these original materials while reviewing archived videos of Trump's appearances at events from the 1990s to early 2000s. These previously unrevealed videos and photos were all taken before any of Epstein's legal troubles.

On Tuesday, during a brief interview with CNN, when asked about these images, Trump replied, "You must be joking with me." He then repeatedly accused CNN of being "fake news" and hung up the phone.

In a statement sent to CNN, Steven Cheung, the Director of the White House Communications Office, said the disclosure was "taken out of context," and it was "a misleading interpretation of irrelevant videos and pictures taken from well-known public events in an abhorrent way."

He continued to refute, "The fact is, the president (Trump) had long since kicked him (Epstein) out of the club because he was a weird person. This is just a continuation of the fake news manufactured by the Democratic Party and liberal media."

CNN reported that the U.S. Department of Justice recently decided not to release more documents related to the Epstein case, a decision that has sparked doubts and dissatisfaction within the Trump's MAGA camp, as people expected the release of relevant archives of the Epstein case.

A CBS poll published on the 21st showed that 89% of Americans support the release of all documents related to the Epstein case, and 92% believe these documents may contain information that could damage the reputation of many politicians and celebrities.

"But in the past 48 hours, Trump has tried every means to shift attention away from the Epstein case," according to The Washington Post. Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice released the latest declassified surveillance report documents regarding the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's "email gate" incident.

On the same day, the Trump administration publicly released over 230,000 pages of files related to the assassination of the late African American civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., despite strong opposition from his family. They claimed the move was "in response to the public's right to know."

AP cited a U.S. human rights activist who said that the sudden release of these files was not due to "transparency and fairness," but rather to divert attention.

Martin Luther King's family felt the same. That day, his daughter Bernice King posted a photo of her father with a scrutinizing look on social media X and added the caption, "Now, it's time for the Epstein case files."

On Tuesday (22nd), Trump met with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the White House, and both announced a new trade agreement. However, the focus of the press quickly returned to the highly controversial Epstein case.

According to media reports, the U.S. Department of Justice recently announced that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will question Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate and ex-girlfriend, in the coming days. Maxwell is currently serving a sentence for involvement in child prostitution.

When asked about the Department of Justice's move, Trump avoided the question, saying, "I don't know anything about it." He added, "I actually don't pay much attention to it. It's like a political persecution campaign."
