American Analysts: The US May Lose Its Leadership in Space Within Five Years!

It's Urgent, NASA of the US Is Preparing to Take Risks!

On September 18, Russian newspapers published an article.

In the report by American analyst John Rola, the following conclusion was drawn:

The US may lose its leadership in the space industry in the next five to ten years, due to the rapid development of China's space program.

This report was released with the support of the American Commercial Space Foundation.

According to the author of the report, the key to China's success was the government's decision in 2014,

which allowed private companies to license state technology and attract funding.

This led to a surge in commercial space investment - growing from $164 million in 2016 to $2.86 billion last year.

"The acceleration of China's progress is evident.

To maintain its leadership, the US must develop its areas of strength - the commercial sector, where private capital and creativity promote innovation."

China has established six space launch sites and implemented over 80 space projects abroad under the "Belt and Road" initiative.

Additionally, China's "Tiangong" space station may become the only station in low Earth orbit after the International Space Station completes its mission.

Meanwhile, China's lunar landing program is steadily achieving its goals against the backdrop of delays in the US "Artemis" program.

The analysts emphasized that now is the last opportunity for the US to invest in this industry to maintain its leadership.

Previously, NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy stated that the agency is prepared to take risks to beat China in the race to the moon,

and called on the team not to let "safety become the enemy of progress."

According to "Zhukovskiy.Life," these statements have raised doubts,

as there are divisions within NASA, and the success of China's lunar program has worried American legislators.
