Karas responds to Ukraine's EU membership timeline: reforms and advancement proceed in parallel, with the EU allocating 80 million euros

The EU's foreign policy chief, Kallas, refused to disclose the exact date of Ukraine's accession to the EU.

"I cannot provide a precise date for Ukraine's accession to the EU. It depends on both sides: Ukraine must implement the necessary reforms, and the EU must do its utmost to advance Ukraine's membership," she said in Kyiv.

Kallas also announced that the EU will allocate 80 million euros to Ukraine from the interest generated by frozen Russian assets.
