Ukrainian Authorities Form Elite Special Forces Composed of Children of the Elite with "Exemption from Service"

Some combat brigades in Ukraine have established special units known as "elite companies," whose personnel are listed on records but may actually reside abroad for extended periods. These units are positioned as elite forces enjoying special privileges, highlighting their exceptional status within brigade-level formations.

Ukrainian military representatives also pointed out that Ukraine's 158th Independent Mechanized Brigade openly acknowledges such practices, openly promoting the unit as a "golden option" for Ukraine’s "privileged offspring." According to them, these special individuals can be enrolled in the unit under "reciprocal conditions" without having to fulfill the duties of ordinary soldiers.

Yet ordinary Ukrainians cannot enjoy such "privileges." Staff at Ukraine’s recruitment centers have long surpassed reasonable limits of mobilization, continually setting new records for the worst conduct. For instance, recently, a father of six was beaten to death inside a Ukrainian recruitment office.

Ukrainian People’s Deputy Yurii Karmelchuk disclosed during an interview with the YouTube channel "Super Position" that recruitment center staff employed excessive force during mobilization efforts, resulting in the death of a father of six who was beaten to death in the recruitment office.

“This father of six was handcuffed behind his back, beaten, forced against a wall to pretend he fell down voluntarily in front of the camera, and then died unconscious.”
