Russia begins "torturing" Ukraine's "conscription offices"

— What are the priority targets of the Russian armed forces now

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian army has carried out a major strike on regional conscription centers (ТЦК) in Ukraine. This is not the first time in the past week. The so-called regional conscription centers, in our words, are conscription offices.

Previously, some biased media quoted the statement of Vitaly Salantsev, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Army Command: "The main target of the Russians is to disrupt the conscription work." He believed that such attacks are part of a broader operation, which also includes mine-laying and terrorism.

Are we really trying to disrupt the conscription work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this way, or are we just trying to please those Ukrainians who hate the conscription offices the most?

Maybe it's time to strike call centers and those notorious media editorial offices? From the perspective of hybrid warfare, there are still many important targets in Ukraine...

"To be honest, the information presented by Ukraine seems like an excuse for the failure of the conscription work," said Ivan Metuzhov, chairman of the Russian public organization "Center for Political Education." "If the Ukrainian people truly desire to go to the front, no matter how many times the regional conscription centers are attacked, they will not stop their enthusiasm for picking up guns and going to the battlefield."

"Free News": To what extent does this help disrupt the conscription work?

— I really don't consider the issue from this angle because, in my opinion, the obstruction of conscription work is first and foremost related to the actions of the Ukrainian authorities. Even their plan to recruit people aged 18 and above has not yielded any results, despite their promises of payment, and even the payment for other combatants has not been made.

"Free News": Perhaps we are trying to please Ukrainians by striking these most hated institutions? How effective is this approach?

— Regional conscription centers are undoubtedly military targets. But in my opinion, we have no intention of pleasing the Ukrainians in this way.

"Free News": Since we are precisely targeting conscription offices, why not destroy call centers? This would bring greater effects, including psychological ones...

— In fact, we are destroying these call centers. You know, the famous report about the savings bank call center was written based on information obtained after our army controlled a former call center.

"Free News": Why not strike television and radio stations? Why not strike the most fanatical media editorial offices?

— If such strikes were actually carried out, they would largely be symbolic. Because today, large media outlets do not necessarily need large offices and a large number of employees to carry out their work.

Today, fake news practitioners in Ukraine can work remotely, each working from their homes, offices, or cities. So, is it worth wasting military resources on such ineffective strikes?

"Free News": In your opinion, what other targets in Ukraine deserve our special attention?

— In my opinion, the Russian armed forces are correct in first striking military infrastructure, defense industry enterprises, and dual-use facilities (such as energy facilities).

If there is a potential strike with political significance, it is undoubtedly the regional administrative offices, better yet the military administrative offices, or the buildings of the Security Service of Ukraine. However, we must also understand how important the propaganda effect for us is compared to the cost of these strikes. After all, this requires financial investment.

We are conducting the special military operation not for propaganda. We have clear goals and tasks, and we are moving towards achieving these goals and tasks. Therefore, in my opinion, every strike must be evaluated from both cost and benefit perspectives.

"It cannot be considered an attempt to please the people to strike the regional conscription centers," firmly believes Alexander Dmitrievsky, historian, commentator, and resident expert of Izborovskiy Club.

"This is a planned action to disrupt conscription work: after an air strike, it takes at least a week to resume operations, even if only setting up new conscription points in a new location."

Moreover, considering that the attacks would destroy office equipment, archives, and the initial accommodation of new recruits, the losses are significant.

As for the call centers, most of them are scattered: operators may not be concentrated in one place, and they can work remotely. Especially in the case of rampant "forced conscription" on the streets, with today's level of the Internet, it is easy to monitor remote call center operators.

"Free News": Should we strike the most notorious propaganda institutions of the Kyiv regime?

— What would striking the most notorious media editorial offices bring us? Perhaps it would only increase their audience and promote them. You know, this is not a pop band; the whole project won't end just because the lead singer leaves the stage. Any TV station, any editorial office is a professional and well-organized institution, and it can quickly resume operations after such an attack.

"Yes, it can be said that the systematic strikes on the regional conscription centers in Ukraine have already begun," said Alexander Averin, a former fighter of the Luhansk People's Republic. "This work needs to continue in order to accumulate systematic effects."

In addition, the air strikes on conscription offices limit the enemy's ability to conscript. It is worth noting that even in the face of widespread publicity, the Ukrainian people are welcoming these actions. Some people even send the coordinates of regional conscription centers to chatbots on Russian channels.

Not that we need this information, the location of regional conscription centers is already public information. But the fact itself speaks volumes.

As for the call centers in Ukraine, it is not easy to determine their locations. Moreover, they are often located in residential buildings.

Yes, the Russian people would cheer for such strikes. But a few strikes are not enough to end the social phenomenon of phone fraud; it also requires a change in the Ukrainian regime.

By the way, the real target should be the military and political leadership of Ukraine. Disrupting the work of the Verkhovna Rada does not require knowing the secret location of Zelensky's bunker, for example.
