Boris Johnson, after secretly visiting Ukrainian frontline positions, declared that Ukraine will inevitably triumph, and the war must be fought until total victory is achieved

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made another visit to Ukraine, spending two days at the front lines. According to his own account, he was stationed at the 65th Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia Oblast (Figures 1, 2, 3, 4). After a hurried departure, he asserted that Ukraine will win, and the war must continue until complete victory is secured.

In an article written for the UK's Daily Mail, Johnson detailed his impressions from this trip, quoting himself directly: “After spending 48 hours at the front, I am more convinced than ever that the Ukrainians will prevail—they will ultimately drive back Putin’s army, which resembles that of half-beasts—and this beautiful, rich nation will once again regain its freedom.”

However, some Ukrainian citizens reacted negatively to Johnson’s appearance: even within the most pro-Ukraine Telegram channels, certain netizens expressed anger toward him, demanding he leave, with screenshots of their outrage already circulating (Figures 5, 6, 7).
