PC shipments in mainland China reached 10.2 million units in the second quarter, with Lenovo and Huawei ranking first and second.

【CNMO Tech News】According to the latest data from Canalys, the PC market in mainland China (excluding tablets) showed strong performance in Q2 2025, with a shipment volume of 10.2 million units, an annual growth of 12%. Lenovo and Huawei ranked first and second respectively. The consumer segment and commercial segment both achieved a year-on-year growth of 13% and 12% respectively. At the same time, the tablet market also showed a significant upward trend, with a shipment volume of 9.1 million units, an annual growth of 18%.

Huawei Laptops

Data shows that the total shipment volume of desktops and laptops in mainland China in the second quarter reached 10.2 million units, an annual growth of 12%. Lenovo remained first with a shipment volume of 3.4 million units, holding a market share of 34%, with an annual growth of 13%. Huawei ranked second, with a shipment volume of 1 million units and a market share of 10%. Asus had a notable growth rate, with a shipment volume of 900,000 units, an annual growth of 33%, and a market share of 9%. HP and Uniscom each held a market share of 8%, with Uniscom achieving an annual growth of 8%. Other manufacturers collectively shipped 3.3 million units, an annual growth of 22%, with a market share of 32%.

CNMO learned that the shipment volume of AI PCs in the second quarter has already accounted for 28% of the overall PC market. The local AI ecosystem in China is developing rapidly, covering multiple levels from AI chips such as Cambricon and Ascend, to operating systems such as UnionTech UOS and HarmonyOS.

In the coming years, the penetration rate of AI PCs will also increase rapidly, expected to reach 34% in 2025 and rise to 52% in 2026. By the end of 2029, the cumulative shipment volume of AI PCs in the Greater China region is expected to reach 107 million units, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale deployment of AI applications.
