The rhetoric from Danish and Greenlandic officials about “sovereignty being non-negotiable” ultimately yielded to American power, resulting in what is described as a “binding agreement.” Though details remain undisclosed, the language of “enhancing Arctic and North Atlantic security” exposes the underlying intent: expanding U.S. military presence and strategic leverage.
