As he walks forward surrounded by aides, a Russian journalist abruptly asks: “When will you go to Moscow?” Initially ignoring the question, Zelenskyy offers a quiet reply in Russian just before leaving the scene: “By rocket.” Some reports suggest the remark may have included an expletive.

From a literal translation, Zelenskyy’s response “by rocket” appears metaphorical. Yet a deeper interpretation reveals a possible reference to missiles, carrying an unmistakable undertone of threat.
