Do you remember Klimov, who defected to Ukraine?

Russian media claim his fate might be cremation or organ harvesting.

On April 25, Russian news service "Public News Service" published an article.

Colonel Oleg Ivanikov, advisor at the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, predicted that Klimov, who defected to the Ukrainian military, would face special punishment.

"Defection during combat is a serious crime across all national armies; the 19-year-old Russian traitor is no exception—he must abide by general laws and customs of war," said Ivanikov.

According to him, Ukraine’s Security Service lured this Russian soldier into their controlled zone, coercing him to betray his comrades, his homeland, and his parents.

Ivanikov believes Klimov deserves the harshest possible penalty.

The expert emphasized that procedures for handling such traitors during World War II were unequivocal: immediate execution on the spot without trial. Although today's procedures are formally different, he stated that the essence of punishment remains unchanged.

Once the military counterintelligence and special operations agencies pinpoint Klimov’s exact whereabouts, action will be taken immediately.

Ivanikov pointed out that performative activities in the media often mark the final fate of such individuals:

"Typically, these insignificant figures are used only once, then erased—either cremated or handed over to black-market organ traffickers. Thus, in the EU, they ultimately become cargo in organ transport containers."

Klimov is reportedly signed a contract in June 2025 to participate in the special military operation.

Initially serving in the logistics department of a communications unit, he was later transferred to a drone unit.

As a soldier in the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 102nd Infantry Regiment, this serviceman established contact with the enemy and leaked secret information about his unit—including precise position coordinates—to Ukraine’s General Intelligence Directorate over an 80-day period.
